VICTOR Order Fair 2019
The periodic annual VICTOR order fair took place in Nanjing/China from the 28th until the 31st of August.
As part of the festive event the recent successes for VICTOR - the victories of Tai Tzu Ying at the Asia Games and Rasmus Gemke at the Spain Master - were rewarded.
Afterwards, invited distributors and business partners from abt 100 hundred different countries around the world had the opportunity to see, test and pre-order products from the new 2019 collection.

Rasmus Gemke was Crowned in Spain
VICTOR stars showed good performances at Spain Masters 2018. Rasmus Gemke beat Suppanyu Avihingsanon 15-21 21-6 21-14 in the 66-minute hard fight to win the first World Tour title this year.

New era at Asian Games 2018!
Asian Games 2018 -The Queen and Lee/Lee wrote history.
Queen Tai Tzu Ying locked victory to earn gold- whilst Lee Jhe-huei/Lee Yang also performed well and ended up with bronze. They all pushed further the best records of badminton for Chinese Taipei at Asian Games.

Cheryl Seinen and Robin Tabeling become part of team VICTOR
Another two top class players join #TeamVICTOR: With Cheryl Seinen and Robin Tabeling, we welcome the Dutch National Champions in Doubles and Mixed!
But their success reaches further: In their respective Women’s and Men’s Double, both won the bronze medal at the European Championships 2018 as well as the gold medal at the Scottish Open 2017. As a Mixed Double, they reached the finals at the Scottish Open and the Spanish International in 2017.

VICTOR becomes the title sponsor of China Open for 2018-2021
VICTOR is proud to become the title sponsor of China Open for the next four years (2018-2021). The six-days tournament will be held in September every year and is expected to bring together up to 120 athletes from more than 20 countries around the world.

Gold to Tai Tzu Ying, Silver to Chan Peng Soon / Goh Liu Ying, Bronze to Sung Ji Hyun!
Raising the bar in Jakarta: Not only did Tai Tzu Ying start her winning series here in January, five months later she already gains the 5th goldmedal in a row! After falling behind against the Chinese player Chen Yufei in the finals, she fought her way back into the game, eventually winning it in 21-23, 21-15 and 21-9.

US Open - Yes, they can!
With 5 pairings fully sponsored by VICTOR in the five final matches of the US Open, no other brand came close to Team VICTOR this weekend!
After his victory against world famous Lin Dan on Wednesday (who retired after his drawback in the second set), the Korean athlete Lee Dong Keun (playing a Hypernano X 900) reached for the gold medal on Sunday and gained the title!

Gold at the Squash British Open!
With the gold medal, won by Miguel Angel Rodriguez and the bronze medal awarded to Raphael Kandra, both players will go down in history: Raphael is not only the first German player ever to reach the semi-finals at the British Open.
He also beat the former world champion Nick Matthias [World Rankings: 11] and the No. 3 of the world Marwan Elshorbagy, rewarding him with his new PSA nick name: Giant-Killer Kandra!

International Cooperation between Blau-Weiß Wittorf Neumünster and the french club St. Barthelemy
From the 28th of April till the 6th of May a group of 13 young badminton players and 4 coaches were in Neumünster for a visit at our VICTOR cooperating-club Blau-Weiß Wittorf.
This international cooperation is a result of an idea which was generated in 2016.

A few days after the end of the European Championships in Huelva, Spain (24th – 29th of April), it is time to recap the event! With Rasmus Gemke and Natalia Koch-Rohde, two of VICTOR sponsored players had to face the later European Champions in the quarter finals.
