Squash: Raphael Kandra is European Individual Champion 2019

Bucharest, 07.09.2019 - The current German Individual Champion Raphael Kandra (Paderborner SC) is gold medallist at the European Individual Championships (September 4th to 7th) in Germany and is thus European Individual Champion of the Year 2019. Kandra won the final of the European Individual Championships in five sets with 11:6, 11:8, 7:11, 7:11, 12:10 in about 80 minutes against Borja Golan (ESP).

Successful weekend at the European Games 2019 in Minsk

A hot weekend in Europe not only provided high temperatures, but also great competition between European badminton players in Minsk. The VICTOR players achieved fantastic results and fought their way up the podium several times.

Both VICTOR player Cheryl Seinen and her double partner Selena Piek (WD) won the title, as did Anders Antonsen, who won the men's final against Frenchman Brice Leverdez.

Denmark International: Final of the VICTOR player H.-K. Vittinghus & Kai Schäfer

After strong performances Kai Schäfer (SC Union Lüdinghausen) made his way in the final of the  LI-NING Denmark Challenge 2019 and met Hans-Kristian Vittinghus on Sunday.

Gold medal for Denmark: European Champion 2019

The danish badminton team won the gold medal at the mixed team European Championship 2019 in Copenhagen / Denmark (February 13-17), defending his title for the third year in a row.
The Northern Europeans received the trophy of the tournament winner for the 17th time in the history of the mixed-team European Championship since 1972.

German squash champion 2019: Raphael Kandra defends his DEM title in Hamburg

At the 44th DUCAT German Singles Championships (DEM) at the Sportwerk in Hamburg, Raphael Kandra (DRL 2) successfully defended his DEM title of the previous year this weekend. The VICTOR player prevailed in three rounds with 13:11, 11: 2, 11: 6 against Valentin Rapp (DRL 3, SI Stuttgart) and thus secured his second overall title after his first DEM title last year.

Team of the year: Blau-Weiß Wittorf honored once again

Blau-Weiß Wittorf, sponsored by VICTOR, has been honored as club of the year during the formal honoring event in Northern Germany: Neumuenster. 

It was already the second award for them which makes it much more relevant.
Primarily specialized jury experts and readers of journals/ newspapers gave their votes over a period of 3 weeks. 
In total Wittorf was able to gain over 3000 votes and ultimately achieved the nomination over other participating clubs.

New Year - New Joy ! Gregory Mairs wins at the Estonian International

VICTOR player Gregory Mairs illustrated a convincing performance in Tallinn by winning the gold medal in the men's double and the silver medal in the mixed double with his partners.
He won the final after 36 minutes with his partner Peter Briggs against Indonese Danny Bawa Chrisnata and Loh Kean Hean in two sets with 22-20, 21-18.
