TAIHOT China Open 2016
The TAIHOT China Open were held in the Haixia Olympic Sports Center from the 15th to 20th November. Three of five disciplines were dominated by VICTOR players.
Iskandar Zukarnain Zainuddin from Malaysia, fully equipped by VICTOR, reached semi final in the men´s singles. After a hard fight he closely lost against the subsequent winner Jan O Jorgensen from Denmark with 20-22 22-20 7-21.
Both semi finals were manned by a VICTOR player in the women´s singles. In the first half of the draw Tai Tzu Ying (Chinese Taipei) reached the semi final after a great victory over the top seeded Carolina Marin. But in her match with the Chinese Sun Yu she had some problems to come in and lost with 8-21 21-23. Sung Ji Hyun from Korea was in the second semi finale. She missed the final and lost to the subsequent winner Pusarla v. Sindhu from India with 21-11 21-23 19-21.
Marcus Fesnaldi Gideon and Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo from Indonisia, both fully equipped by VICTOR, got the title in men's doubles. They won over the Danish Mathias Boe and Carsten Mogensen with 23-21 21-17.
The next title followed in the women's doubles. The Korean Ye Na Chang and So Hee Lee defeated the Chinese Dongping Huang and Yinhui Li with 13-21 21-14 21-17.
The crowning end was made in the discipline mixed doubles by Tontowi Ahmad and Liliyana Natsir from Indonesia. They struggle for the title against the Chinese Zhang Nan and Yinhui Li with 21-13 22-24 21-16.
