8 nations tournament 2016
It is one of the most important junior tournaments for badminton. The 8 nations tournament for juniors under 15.
The tournament is hold in a yearly change of the nations Denmark, France, Sweden, England, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and Switzlerland.
This year the place of playing was in the Swiss St. Gallen from the 3rd to 6th November. Next to the team event the German nationalteam participated in the individuel event. The big VICTOR-talent Matthias Kicklitz was part of the German team and call attention to his supreme performance.
Matthis Kicklitz, fully equipped by VICTOR, started successfully in three disciplines.
In the men's singles Matthias reached the semi final, where he lost to the lately runner up Magnus Johannsen from Denmark with 15-21 15-21.
The discipline mixed was another semi final for Matthias with his partner Thuc Nguyen. But it was again some danish players with more luck. Mats Vestergaard and Emilia Nesic won with 22-20 21-12.
Finally the men's doubles was the discipline for Matthias. Surrounded by a lot of Danish player, Matthias and his Partner Aaron Sonnenschein asserted theirselves and won the title. In the final the German talents defeated the Danish double Axel Parkhøi and Marcus Viscovich with 12-21 21-19 21-16.
