China Open Superseries Premier 2014
A lot of VICTOR-topstars were participating at the China Open Superseries tournament in Shanghai last weekend.
Due to extraordinary local support, this competition is typically ruled by Chinese stars, but it was different this weekend. Some VICTOR players made their lifes a misery, achieving unexpected good results.
Especially Yoo Yeon Seong was very successful again. Reaching second place in the mixed doubles and winning the men’s doubles competition, he was the most successful doubles player of the tournament.
Some other good results : men’s doubles Sheng Mu / Chia Hsin, Sung Hyun / Baek Cheol as well as the women’s singles player Bae Yeon Ju were able to outperform their seedings and all achieved 3rd places in their competitions.
All eyes were on the men’s singles competitionon Chou Tien Chen again, beeing able to confirm his No. 3 seeding.
He lost to not less than Chinas badminton legend Lin Dan. Both shew a huge game. Finally all sides could be satisfied with the results.
